His architecture and design background enables him to immediately grasp spatial design concepts. This ability, coupled with technical knowledge, allows him to conceive and develop lighting strategies which enhance buildings and landscapes in new and exciting ways.
EXPERIENCE
David has won and completed projects four continents: North America, Europe, Asia and Australia. His work has been published in magazines all over the world. He has served on juries of the Australian Design Council awards programme and the Illuminating Engineers Society Lighting Design Awards programme. David lectures at Industry events and to pass on the knowledge learnt from his experience, David has also teaches lighting design at Assumption University, Bangkok Thailand.

EXPERTISE
David is the Creative Director and Chairman of the DJCoalition International group of companies. David formulates and develops our design strategies both at a philosophical and project level. He directs us toward the creation of innovative, client focussed lighting solutions.
PONGKHUN YOOSUPAB runs our Thailand office as its Director.
Khun Pongkhun was born and educated in Thailand and graduated from Chulalongkorn University with a Bachelor degree in Architecture. He continued his studies at the University of Colorado from which he graduated with a Masters Degree of Architecture. His international background makes him a skilled communicator and an open, clear thinker.
Khun Pongkhun completed his architectural internship in Seattle, Washington and continued to work in the United States for six years. Upon return to Bangkok he pursued his interest in lighting, joining together with many like minded design professionals to form what is now a very vibrant Bangkok lighting profession.
Khun Pongkhun has 14 years’ experience post graduation, with six years of that at DJCoalition. For three years he has managed our Thai office and overseen our growth in the Asian Region. He is registered with the Siam Institute of Architects.
He helps set design strategies for projects across the Asian region and then, with equal measures of design insight and organisation, guides them through documentation and site realisation.

Fiona guides the development of our practice, how to build our contacts and reputation and how to influence our profession. She understands the way people work together cooperatively across different cultures and manages our team matching resources to projects and thus lead our clients to the best outcome.
Fiona has driven digital transformation of office administration and practices, she has instigated joint venture opportunities and as a paid / volunteer event planner successfully driving community involvement. She also teaches the best Pilates classes for busy designers
EXPERIENCE
Fiona has worked across our region in the profession of lighting design. Specifically Fiona has experience in Australia – Western Australia and New South Wales – Singapore and Hong Kong. Before joining us she ran her own successful lighting design practice in Singapore. She has also worked extensively with the WA surf lifesaving organisation with their compliance programme and liaison with local government.
Her training started in the Arts at Cardiff School and design at South Bank Polytechnic. These early explorations were followed by experience gained working on site for projects in Hong Kong, Indonesia, China, Korea and South East Asia in the early 1990s.

Khun Rinnin studied at Rangsit University, Bangkok Thailand and graduated with a Bachelor of Interior Design with Honours. She continued her studies completing her Masters degree in Lighting Design at King Mongkut University of Technology, Thailand. She is currently studying her MBA, enabling her to bring greater organisational and business skills into her management of the design and construction process.
Khun Rinnin followed her studies with a year at the Aalto University School of Arts in Helsinki, Finland. The time spent oversees in Scandinavia has proved formative to her understanding of light and design. She believes good design should be honest, of a simple aesthetic and long lasting.
Her design methodology is “hands-on” with a practical approach to creative idea generation. She uses sketching, model making and mock ups to test ideas. Her approach is summarised by a think-draw-make, rethink-redraw-remake approach.
RINNIN KOSITANONT Khun Rinnin is a Senior Lighting Designer at DJCoalition Bangkok she started her career in 2009 joining DJCoalition in 2011.
Her international experience includes projects in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Jordan and the Maldives.
